What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at Norton Estate Planning & Elder Law Firm, LLC?
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Paralegal to support our Attorneys with the administration of Guardianship and Probate matters from appointment through closing. In this role, you’ll independently manage key aspects of cases, including preparing documents for a variety of transactions, communicating with clients and various business and legal entities, managing Guardianship and Probate administration from start to finish, and providing excellent customer service.
Successful candidates will have the ability to individually manage the cases from start to finish, including drafting and organizing court and financial documents, conducting asset collection and valuation, facilitating meetings, and communicating effectively with clients, banks, insurance companies, and other stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and deadlines are essential.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing deadlines, client communications, and financial documentation while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Applicants must be comfortable preparing, proofreading, and filing legal documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy and timely communication. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, a paralegal degree or certificate, and 2–5 years of experience as a paralegal in the estate planning field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and maintain confidential information are key to success in this role. Research skills and the ability to interpret financial documents are preferred.
Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
