Role Description
- This is a full-time, hybrid Paralegal role located primarily in Noblesville, IN, but also has an office space in the Fishers, IN area. The Paralegal would work in-person approximately three days per week and able to work remotely approximately two days per week. The Paralegal will assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents, conducting thorough legal research, reviewing and organizing case files, preparing matter summaries, and maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and other parties. The Paralegal will also be responsible for ensuring that all documentation adheres to legal standards and deadlines, and for supporting the firm's mission of delivering exceptional client service. The Paralegal will also handle client intake and communicate with clients and assist with general firm tasks, including light IT and marketing. The paralegal will also assist the lawyer, at times, with in court litigation.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Law and experience in Legal Document Preparation
- Proficiency in Legal Research and the ability to analyze and synthesize information
- Attention to detail and expertise in Document Review
- Effective verbal and written Communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines
- Experience working in family law, estate planning, or civil litigation is a plus
- Experience using Clio, Lexis Nexis, Wealth Counsel, Leap, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or a Paralegal certification is preferred
