Responsibilities:
Develop and implement activities programs that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents
Coordinate and lead activities, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social events
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that activities are integrated into the daily routine and align with the needs of our residents
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities programs and make necessary adjustments
Recruit and supervise activity volunteers and assist with volunteer coordination
Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback
Develop and manage the activities budget
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreational therapy or related field preferred
Minimum of 0 years of experience in activities direction or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
