About the Role
NorthWing Digital is looking for an Advertising Graphic Designer to join our team in Hopkins, MN. This is a mid-to-entry-level role focused on producing digital ad creative for a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll be designing for real campaigns across social and display channels, working directly with our team to bring client brands to life through high-performing visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design static ad creatives for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and display ad networks (Google Ads, programmatic)
- Ensure all deliverables meet platform specs and technical requirements across placements and formats
- Maintain brand consistency across multiple clients, ad formats, and target audiences
- Use design fundamentals and visual strategies to support campaign goals and drive engagement
- Optimize designs for mobile and varied ad dimensions
- Collaborate with internal team members and clients to understand creative direction and brand requirements
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate on designs with a positive, solutions-first attitude
- Bring fresh ideas and creative thinking to campaigns when given the latitude to do so
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; Figma experience a plus
- Solid understanding of digital ad specs across major platforms
- Strong grasp of typography, layout, and direct-response design principles
- Ability to translate brand guidelines into compelling creatives deliverables
- Strong communication skills for both internal collaboration and client-facing interactions
- Portfolio demonstrating digital advertising work (social ads, display banners, etc.)
- Must be local to the Minneapolis / St. Paul area
- Must be willing and able to work in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week
Nice to Have
- Motion graphics or video editing skills (After Effects, Premiere, or similar)
- Experience working in an agency environment with multiple simultaneous clients
