What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Technician I position at Northwind Computers, Inc?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized IT technician to join our growing team. In this position, there will be an opportunity to play a key role in providing support for all areas of IT. You will update systems, troubleshoot problems, and provide hands-on support for IT issues within our organization and customer base.
Desired Qualifications:
- Qualified candidate needs to be able to disassemble and reassemble a PC. Mac OS X knowledge required, Windows knowledge required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable in a diverse and fast-paced environment
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Desire to work with network and server management support.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment
Additional Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge regarding Office 365; G-suite.
- Network troubleshooting and advanced configuration DNS, IP, SMTP and DHCP.
- Windows Server setup and configuration and PowerShell.
- Certifications for cloud track Microsoft Office 365 or Microsoft MCSE, MCSA track.
