Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) is seeking a dedicated professional in the field of human services to provide on-site job support for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. We’re looking for someone who is well-organized, adaptable, punctual, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. This is a substitute position that may also provide support for other DS community-based roles beyond the Employment Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct job coaching and on-site support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Encourage independence while fostering dignity, respect, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Collaborate with employers, coworkers, and NCSS team members to support successful employment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress effectively.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of, or experience with, individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
