What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Mental Health - Psychiatric Core Nurse position at NORTHWESTERN COUNSELING & SUPPORT SERVICES INC?
Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is expanding our nursing team! We are looking for an LPN or RN level nurse to join our team supporting psychiatry services with additional support to our three services divisions. This is a full-time office-based position with predictable and flexible hours, no evenings, nights, weekends or holidays. Comprehensive training provided upon hire. Our approach to treatment is holistic, within an integrative psychiatry model.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Current Vermont LPN or RN license or new PN graduate expecting licensure shortly
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Psychiatric and medical experience
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with mental health professionals
