Compliance Coordinator

There is a full-time opening for a Compliance Coordinator for the Public Transportation Program. This position will be responsible for managing the pre-hire process of drivers and maintaining compliance with TNCARE vendors monthly, in addition to addressing incidents, accidents, and request for explanation reporting with TNCARE vendors.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Schedule pre-employment drug test and DOT physicals, including Hep B vaccinations, and upon request or per policy, request criminal background checks

2. Review and track driver expired information reported monthly from TNCARE contracts

3. Maintain compliance required documents in cloud-based software, i.e. OneDrive

4. Responsible for ensuring drivers are in compliance with TNCARE and DOT contracts monthly

5. Communicate post incident/accident reporting within the 24-hour compliance policy with TNCARE vendors

6. Communicate Request for Explanations within the 24-compliance policy with TNCARE vendors

7. On call to assist with accidents/incidents in the event drug screening is necessary

8. Attend conferences and training as requested by the Transportation Director

9. Other tasks assigned by the Transportation Director when appropriate

Applicants must have effective communication skills, oral and written, be able to multi-task, and detail oriented. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. College requirements may be waived with 3 years of relevant experience. Position located in Martin, TN.
