Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is recruiting on behalf of a global engineering leader that designs and manufactures advanced Test Bench Systems used across aerospace, defense, renewable energy, and automotive industries.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology, innovation, and client engagement. In this role, you will lead business development efforts for complex mechanical and electrical test systems bridging the gap between customers technical needs and engineering solutions that define the future of testing technology.
Key Responsibilities:Drive the full sales cycle for capital equipment and test system projects across North America.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with OEMs, government entities, and R&D organizations.
Collaborate with global product and engineering teams to design tailored solutions for customer applications.
Translate customer needs into actionable proposals covering technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
Represent the company at key industry conferences, trade shows, and technical symposia.
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking using CRM tools while managing multiple high-value projects.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related technical discipline).
6 years of technical sales or business development experience, ideally in test systems, automation, or capital equipment.
Proven success developing relationships with large OEM or government clients.
Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
Entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional organizational and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel 30-40% across North America, with occasional international travel.
U.S. Citizenship required (security clearance eligibility preferred).
Familiarity with system testing, simulation, or controls engineering.
Experience managing projects involving ITAR/EAR compliance or DFARS contracts.
Prior exposure to aerospace or defense equipment sales.
German language proficiency a plus.
