General Handyman

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Handyman to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help maintain a smooth-running environment by performing a wide range of repair, installation, and maintenance tasks. Duties

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across various facilities, including flooring, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting.
• Use electrical experience to handle wiring, circuit repairs, and system upgrades in compliance with safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to complete repairs efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or clients’ maintenance requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or residential services.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform diverse repair tasks confidently.
• Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and working with schematics.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in automation systems.
• Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other hand or power tools safely.
• Knowledge of welding techniques for metal fabrication or repairs.
• Experience with CMMS platforms for work order management and record keeping.
• Supervising experience is preferred to lead small teams effectively on maintenance projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interactions.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
