What are the responsibilities and job description for the Composition Instructors (Part-time)- Steubenville position at Northwest State Community College?
GENERAL PURPOSE
NSCC is looking for qualified Instructors to teach Composition, in-person, at our Steubenville location on Saturdays, beginning in October. Interested candidates must submit an online employment application, resume/curriculum vitae, and unofficial transcripts to be considered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
These positions are responsible for instructing, supervising, and evaluating student progress in the classroom. Part-time instructors will also work closely with the full-time faculty and the dean in their leadership, development, assessment, and evaluation of curriculum. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Composition- The qualified applicant must hold a Master’s degree in English, preferably in rhetoric/composition, or a Master’s degree and a cohesive set of at least 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework in English.
