What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Radiologist position at Northwest Permanente?
Northwest Permanente (NWP) is the largest multispecialty medical group in Oregon and southwest Washington with 1,500 physicians and 300 administrative professionals caring for 615,000 Kaiser Permanente members. Annual base salary range: $483,480 - $514,350
Earning potential of $1,000,000 annually
Sign-on incentives: Up to $150,000
Relocation allowance: Up to $15,000
We invite applications for a Board Certified or Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team in Salem, OR at the Kaiser Skyline Medical office. The assigned work can be tailored to your sub specialization/interest, but experience and interest in breast imaging/mammography is required. You will join an integrated and compassionate team of physicians and supportive clinical and administrative staff. Interested applicants need to interact well with clinical colleagues and work efficiently while providing consultations.
What You Can Expect:
- 4-day work week
- Typical schedule is 7am-4pm with an hour lunch
- Work from home opportunities and great work/life balance
- Minimal weekend general call coverage (approximately one day per quarter)
- Occasional fluoroscopy procedures.
- Physician-friendly Epic EMR, RadAI Impressions and AI-assisted scribe support
- Opportunities for leadership positions within the medical group, if desired
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
Minimum Requirements:
- Board Certified or Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
Preferred Requirements:
- Fellowship training is preferred but not required.

The annual base salary range is $483,480 - $514,350 for a .9 FTE/ 4-day work week. Salary range considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the annual salary, NWP offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
Earning potential of $1,000,000 annually reading additional studies, extra shift compensation, call compensation, and other relevant factors.
