Northwest Partners is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant – Risk & Gap Management to support a Global CISO in identifying and closing security gaps, managing risk, and strengthening overall security posture. This hands-on role will drive enterprise security initiatives, assist with IPO readiness activities, and communicate risk to executive leadership.The ideal candidate is technically skilled and business-savvy, with experience leading cross-functional security projects, mentoring small teams, and translating complex technical risks into actionable business insights.
What You Will Do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise security projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Conduct cybersecurity gap assessments and risk analyses, and develop actionable remediation plans.
- Implement and manage security controls across IT, cloud, and enterprise systems.
- Oversee DLP, IAM, PAM, password management, and access governance initiatives.
- Build and operationalize continuous access review programs and automated security workflows.
- Manage small security teams, providing day-to-day guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate risk posture to executive leadership.
- Support IPO readiness activities, including documentation and board meeting preparation.
What You Will Bring
- 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, including consulting or advisory roles.
- Hands-on expertise in at least four areas: DLP, PAM, password management, penetration testing, or identity governance.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC 2, or similar security frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Entra ID, SailPoint, Saviynt, and M365/Azure security tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business language.
- Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or OSCP.
- Ability to mentor and guide small teams while influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
