What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1–2-year experience as a medical assistant
- Must hold a CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Familiarity with eCW (preferred)
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and room patients
- Perform intake procedures including vital signs and medication reconciliation; accurately enter data into the eClinicalWorks electronic medical record system
- Provide support during examinations as needed
- Prepare and draw up injections as required
- Give instructions or relay messages to patients as instructed by a physician
- Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patient’s medical records before their appointment
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required
- Answer phone calls, take detailed messages, and respond to inquiries from patients, physicians, and pharmacies.
- Ability to travel to other NWN locations as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
