Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
- Review medication orders for accuracy, interactions, contraindications, and proper dosing.
- Provide clinical consultation and education to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient medication profiles and adjust therapy as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Participate in formulary management, medication reconciliation, and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations, including controlled substance management.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns in daily operations.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety programs.

Maintain knowledge of new drugs, therapies, and best practices in pharmaceutical care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy required.
- Licensure: Current and active Mississippi Pharmacist license in good standing required.
- Experience: Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred. New graduates with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply.
