The Nurse Manager provides operational and clinical leadership for the Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units, ensuring safe patient care, staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and efficient unit operations. This position plays a vital role in fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight for daily operations of the Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and clinical excellence
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Monitor staffing levels and coordinate scheduling to meet patient care needs
- Promote adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of nursing staff
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate clinical quality indicators, patient satisfaction, and unit performance metrics
- Support compliance with DNV, CMS, and other regulatory standards
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Manage unit resources, supplies, and operational budgets as assigned
- Respond effectively to patient care concerns and operational challenges
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Licensure/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Mississippi or valid Compact State Licensure.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certification required.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
