What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weld Test Coordinator, Part-Time - Northwest Florida State College position at Northwest Florida State College?
The Coordinator of Weld Testing is directly accountable to the Director of Skilled Trades for the following duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Schedule AWS weld testing for the Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) Accredited Test Facility (ATF).
- Conduct weld testing for the ATF in accordance with NWFSC ATF procedures.
- Follow all AWS standards and codes associated with the ATF.
- Maintain ATF records and inventory.
- Ensure measuring and welding equipment is maintained and calibrated in accordance with AWS standards.
- Complete annual mandatory compliance training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director, Dean of Workforce Education, or the Vice President of Academic Affairs
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current CWI with WPQ1 endorsement.
- Verifiable weld test experience.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
