Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Freelance or contact recruiting specialist with a serious placement record of recent recruiting achievement in this fast-changing specialty. Candidates must have significant experience, and strong current knowledge within the past 2 years, to successfully and efficiently source, recruit, and hire the right professionals for our opportunities.
We strongly prefer a freelance or contract recruiter with an LLC or 1099 professional that is available 20hrs/week. Preference will be given to recruiters with sourcing tools. Our recruiter needs to have an uncanny ability to find, vet, and hire top talent to maintain the culture and talent of our fast-growing firm. The ideal candidate works with a sense of urgency to help us achieve our hiring plan timelines while ensuring all new hires are a strong fit for our brand, culture, and their unique positions.

Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that the recruiting efforts align to the firm’s culture and annual hiring strategy using performance metrics. Maintain and accomplish monthly recruiting and hiring targets.
- Job Advertising: Draft and post compelling job descriptions to attract qualified candidates.
- Talent Sourcing: Identify and engage with top talent through various channels such as job boards, professional lists, LinkedIn, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Lead Talent Acquisition: Facilitate the recruitment processes, through a tailored hiring funnel unique to each role, that increases hiring accuracy and minimizes vacancy times for openings.
- Interviews: Conduct initial candidate interviews and screen for culture and basic technical fit using behavioral based questions and activities. Coordinate additional interview rounds with internal employees.
- Process: Apply and interpret cognitive and behavioral assessment results as one of many tools to find candidates of best fit.
- Negotiation and Offer Management: Support offer negotiations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for successful candidates. Make effective and informative reference check calls as a critical piece of our due diligence.
- Market Advantage: Develop competitive intelligence in sourcing and hiring within the legal industry in Seattle and Washington specifically.
- Compliance: Use HR law and best practices when sourcing and hiring.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- BA or BS in business administration, HR, or related field is preferred
- Demonstrated record of sustained success leading hiring initiatives from search through onboarding for hard-to-fill roles
- Proven record of success as a recruiter in the last 2 years
Current certifications through SHRM or HRCI and/or recruiting certifications (PRC, CPSP, LinkedIn, etc.)
Contract Details
- Position Type: Freelance/Contract with 20hr per week.
- Location: Remote / Hybrid or in person options available
- Compensation: Competitive rates based on experience starting at $35 per hour
- Hours: Flexible; project-based workload
Salary : $32 - $39
