Role Description
The Mental Health Professional works collaboratively with staff, parents, and students to implement comprehensive mental health and behavioral support services. The Mental Health Professional utilizes evidence-based practices, in response to identified student needs and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) while working with others to align the efforts of educators, caregivers, community agencies, or other service providers in meeting behavioral support goals.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in related field required. Washington State Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist, Associate, or equivalent license required. Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) preferred. Candidates with over five years of clinical mental health experience may also qualify for some clinical supervision duties. WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance required.
