We are seeking a Director of Business Technology & AI to work directly with senior leadership of our companies to fully leverage our existing systems and thoughtfully adopt new technologies that improve efficiency, insight, and client service.
This role is not a traditional IT position. It focuses on optimizing how our companies operate.
The right person will help our team work smarter by improving workflows, maximizing the capabilities of our software platforms, and leading the thoughtful adoption of AI tools across the organization.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
Business Systems Optimization
Identify opportunities to improve how we use the systems that power the firm, including:
- Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, Copilot)
- CRM platforms
- Document management and workflow tools
- Industry-specific core systems, including:
- Core trust accounting and reporting system
- Core tax preparation software
Your role is to ensure we are using the full capabilities of the tools we already own.
AI Leadership & Implementation
Serve as the firm’s internal champion for practical AI adoption.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying AI tools that improve productivity and decision-making
- Implementing AI workflows that automate routine work
- Establishing safe and compliant use of AI
- Training employees on how to use AI effectively in daily work
- Staying current on AI developments relevant to professional services
Workflow & Efficiency Improvement
Work with teams across the firm to identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate friction, reduce errors, and free up time.
Examples might include:
- Automating reporting processes
- Improving CRM usage and data quality
- Streamlining internal workflows
- Reducing manual data entry through integrations and automation
Training & Technology Enablement
Help our team become more capable and confident users of technology.
This includes:
- Leading practical training sessions
- Developing best practices for system use
- Providing guidance on new tools and workflows
- Helping teams adopt more efficient habits
WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
This role is not responsible for:
- Help desk support
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Network administration
- Cybersecurity infrastructure
- Device management
Those functions are handled through external IT providers. This position focuses on how technology improves how the firm works.
