What are the responsibilities and job description for the Center Director position at Northwest Arkansas Head Start?
Location: Bentonville, AR or Rogers, AR
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Tuesday-Friday 7am-5:30pm
Education Requirements: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
Pay: Commensurate with experience and education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work as a member of the Early Head Start (EHS) and Head Start (HS) team to plan and implement center based programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and their families. Direct the EHS plan and HS plan, and implement daily activities which promote language, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children, birth to age 5.
Ensure that the center maintains compliance with the Head Start/EHS performance standards and licensing requirements.
Required Experience: Early Childhood experience
Preferred Qualifications: Early Head Start and Head Start experience. Bilingual staff encouraged
