Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center currently has an opening for a full-timeSupport Coordinator position located in Florence, Alabama. This position requires someone to be an advocate and manage a caseload of 30 individuals approved for the Intellectual Disability Medicaid Waiver program. Support coordinators are responsible for monitoring services, documenting all correspondence in a timely manner, conducting person-centered planned meetings, completing annual plans, and completing waiver application renewals. Paid job training will be provided.
Requirements:
- No experience is required, but you MUST have a bachelor's degree in a HUMAN SERVICES field.*May 2024 graduates are encouraged to apply now! Unofficial transcripts can be provided to start the process.*
- Current/valid driver’s license, a minimum age of 21, an insurable driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of computer skills, including computer software programs such as Word Processing, Excel, Outlook, online programs, and typing 40 wpm. Excellent organization and the ability to work with other service providers.
