DESCRIPTION
*$500 RETENTION BONUS* The employee will receive half after completing 3 months of employment and the remaining half after 6 months of employment.
The Home Manager is responsible for ensuring that Basic Living Skills (BLS) training is provided for all clients in accordance with department guidelines, for staff meeting the required productivity levels, and for submitting the billing in a timely manner. Other duties will include supervising the staff who provide care and services such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal care, medication administration, and transporting. Paid job training is provided for CPR, first aid, driver training, and medication administration certification (MAC). This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma/GED (or transcripts).
- At least one (1) year residential MI adult experience.
- A current/valid non-expired driver's license. This position requires driving; you must be a minimum age of 21 and have an insurable driving record.
- Social security card
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and use computer software and programs, such as the ability to demonstrate computer skills in Word processing, Excel, and Outlook and type 40 wpm.
- You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training.
- Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Pay Rate: will be discussed in interview
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p, and on-call duties 24/7. The schedule may be changed based on the needs of the group home. Will be discussed further during the interview.
