What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant - Full-time position at Northtown Automotive Companies?
Occupational Summary:
- Responsible for becoming familiar with, and participating in, Northtown's sales processes to help create an extraordinary customer experience for your assigned Sales Consultant. Assist in tasks pertaining to sales, delivery, and service needs in a timely and organized manner to ensure each customer has that extraordinary customer service experience.
Essential Job Functions:
- Learn features and functions of each vehicle as well as the benefits of different makes and models.
- Ongoing research and assessment of the consumers automotive buying experience via competitive dealership websites, Youtube, KBB, Edmunds, etc.
- Assisting each customer in determining the best vehicle options based on needs and wants
- Present new vehicles to customers, focusing on the interior and technology features, as well as providing demonstrations of those features.
- Learning, understanding, and executing the vehicle delivery process (including paperwork)
- Creating a relationship and gaining the trust of customers
- Ability to easily distinguish Northtown vs. competitors and what sets us apart from others
- Remove snow from vehicles and shovel as necessary
- Tracking/reporting daily, weekly, and monthly activities
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours / week
- Required availability during the following hours:
- Monday - Friday 9AM - 7PM and every Saturday 9AM-5PM

- Previous, successful, customer service experience
- Valid in-state driver's license.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.
- Ability to operate smartphone, tablet, and PC.
- Saturday availability is a must!
