Joining NorthStar Memorial Group means becoming part of a compassionate community dedicated to upholding the highest standards of care and respect for the deceased and their families.ResponsibilitiesPractices presenting options to families during the arrangement processAssist with coordinating, planning, and scheduling visitations, services, receptions, and open housesParticipate in scheduling all service arrangements and details such as clergy, honorariums, military organizations, and any other persons involved in conducting the eventWork with the Funeral Director in obtaining all necessary information needed to complete documents such as death certificates, burial transit permits, insurance policies, VA burial benefits, obituaries, and death noticesQualificationsCurrently enrolled in an accredited mortuary program or completed mortuary programAbility to communicate clearly, follow directions, and perform accordinglyExperience handling sensitive situations in a professional mannerUnderstanding of the services and products availableKnowledge of current federal, state and local regulations related to the funeral industryAvailability for call nights & weekendsCompensation$25.22 - $33.62/hr.
