- Financial Strategy and Leadership: Oversee the organization’s Accounting department, managing and mentoring direct team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and process improvement; develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s long-term goals.
- Business Partnering and Decision Support: Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate new projects or investments; support pricing strategies, cost management and margin optimization; present financial results and provide financial insight to guide operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.
- Automation and Efficiency: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of finance systems and automated workflows to drive operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, reduce manual processes, and support scalable financial operations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee accounting, reporting and compliance to ensure accurate financial statements and adherence with regulatory requirements; implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Asset Management: Safeguard cash flow, capital, and risk exposure through effective treasury and risk management practices.
- External Relationship Management: Manage key external relationships, including shareholders, supply chain, audit, insurance and banking relationships.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, and a minimum of ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience required.MBA and/or CPA preferred.
