Role Description

Northstar Heating & Cooling is seeking a full-time, on-site Field Service Manager in Duluth, MN. This role involves overseeing daily field operations, coordinating service schedules, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the successful completion of HVAC installations, service, and maintenance tasks. The Field Service Manager will also be responsible for maintaining quality standards, resolving service-related issues, and ensuring excellent customer service. Collaboration with other departments to optimize workflow and adherence to safety protocols is also a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising field staff.
• Technical proficiency in HVAC systems, maintenance, and repair processes.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements in the HVAC field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to address customer inquiries professionally.
• Proficiency in workflow management, scheduling, and problem-solving.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
• Prior experience in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or technical training in HVAC systems preferred.
