SUMMARY

Moves and cleans vehicles, keeps the vehicles in sound working condition, and helps sales manager as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles. 
• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the sales directors and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary. 
• Makes key tags for vehicles. 
• Fills vehicle with fuel.
• Maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
• Maintains restrooms, doing spot cleaning, maintenance and refilling supplies. 
• Ensures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle’s window.
• Assists New Vehicle Inventory Manager with courtesy deliveries and dealer trades. 
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• Operates all tools and equipment in safe manner.
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid Driver’s License
