What This Role Really Is
This is not a traditional “salesperson” role.
As a Customer Experience Specialist, your job is to:
- Create a great first impression
- Guide the customer through the early stages of the buying process
- Build trust, gather information, and set the deal up for success
You are the foundation of the sale.
You are not responsible for closing the deal alone—we work as a team. Once the customer is ready, you’ll transition them to a manager to finalize everything.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Build rapport and create a comfortable, low-pressure experience
- Learn about the customer’s needs using our proven process
- Help customers select and test drive the right vehicle
- Present initial pricing and guide the early steps of the deal
- Collect credit applications and key information
- Set proper expectations and “plant seeds” for a smooth close
- Follow up with customers and stay engaged throughout the process
- Generate your own opportunities using the tools we provide
- Work as part of a team to maximize results
