This role is for an Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in acute care, providing critical bedside care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include triaging patients, performing minor medical procedures, advising patients and families, documenting medical histories, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring proper documentation. RNs will also manage wound care, IV therapy, equipment maintenance, and report suspected abuse.
Qualifications require 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, along with certifications such as ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS. RNs must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with strong stress management skills and the ability to relate to diverse patient populations.
