- Conduct assessments and apply therapeutic interventions for communication, cognition, hearing, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical, psychosocial, and cognitive needs.
- Promote patient and caregiver self-determination, utilizing outside resources to maximize independence.
- Collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Support discharge planning and serve as a patient advocate.
- Work in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, community, and home health.
- Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
- Valid New Mexico Licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- 1-3 years of experience or Clinical Fellowship eligibility.
