Responsibilities: Acts as a lead and resource for nursing personnel, assists in staff scheduling, assigns patient care, and evaluates nursing performance.
Coordinates staff development, facilitates unit throughput to improve patient length of stay, and participates in policy development, process improvement, and peer review activities.
Supports hiring, mentoring, and staff evaluations.
Assists with patient care delivery by taking an abbreviated clinical assignment to ensure leadership duties are fulfilled.
Qualifications & Skills: Associates Degree or Diploma required; BSN preferred.
Licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan.
1-2 Years Of Progressive Nursing Experience With Leadership Skills.
Ability to prioritize, delegate, and facilitate processes.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Additional Duties: Participates in unit activities, supports process improvements, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and staff performance.
