We are hiring Registered Nurses for various adult acute care units with telemetry and specialty care, including renal, palliative, and neuro units.
Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating patient responses, and providing education to patients and families. Nurses will supervise non-RN staff, serve as charge nurses, and function as preceptors for new staff. Specific neuro care skills such as neuro assessment, airway management, and care for trached and ventilated patients are required.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), a valid Connecticut RN license, BLS certification, and proficiency with electronic health records and internet research.
