Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging to assist radiologists in diagnosis.
Key Duties: Identify anatomical orientation, operate mammography equipment, greet patients, obtain history, ensure proper image file identification, maintain logs, process biopsies, follow sterile techniques, uphold HIPAA standards, maintain examination room cleanliness, assist with accreditation, monitor patient vital signs, provide coverage, mentor new hires, educate patients about procedures, communicate with medical staff and patients, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: ARRT (M) certification, diagnostic mammography certification, EMR experience, preferred associate's or bachelor's in Radiography or related fields, 1 years radiologic experience, and EPIC EMR familiarity.
Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, positioning patients up to 300 pounds, and vision correction to 20/20.
