Responsibilities include preparing patients for visits, performing vital signs, conducting CLIA waived tests, EKGs, hearing and vision screenings, and assisting with medication administration and immunizations under provider delegation. The role involves coordinating care using electronic tools, ensuring efficient patient flow, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and managing supplies and documentation. Collaboration with healthcare team members, adherence to infection control standards, and excellent customer service are essential.
Qualifications
Completion of LPN program, current CT licensure, CPR certification, proficiency in EKG, scheduling, and medical testing, with strong organizational and communication skills. Bilingual skills and electronic health record expertise are preferred.
Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and daily computer and phone use. The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and participation in quality improvement efforts.
