Role Overview: This position is for an Interventional Cardiology specialist providing inpatient care in a 200-bed hospital with a Trauma Level 3 designation.
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality cardiac care, manage STEMI cases with 30-minute response times, and handle patient admissions only for STEMI cases, with all others managed by hospitalists. Cover 5 shifts per week, including in-house and STEMI call, with an average of 15-20 patients per shift. Use EPIC EMR system for documentation.
Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an AR license and DEA certification. Strong skills in interventional cardiology, emergency response, and inpatient care are essential.
