Role Overview: Performs a variety of procedures applying ionizing radiation, including CT scans, ensuring accurate positioning, protocols, and patient safety.

- Identify patients, communicate with medical staff, and prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
- Perform CT scans following established protocols, ensuring image quality and timely delivery for radiologist interpretation.
- Administer IV contrast using proper techniques, monitor equipment function, and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Explain procedures to patients, obtain necessary clinical information, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Operate PACS, process images, and ensure proper archiving and reporting of studies.
- Assist with training co-workers and students, and perform point-of-care testing as needed.
- Maintain a clean, stocked environment and report equipment issues.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT registered and licensed in CT, CPR certification, and SCRQSA certification (for South Carolina).
- Knowledge of imaging protocols, excellent customer service, basic computer and office skills, and familiarity with imaging equipment.
- Preferred skills include 3D imaging and data entry skills.
