Duties
- Training will be provided if experience is not in all areas.
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct detailed janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to ensure a polished appearance
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively for large-scale cleaning projects
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, fixture replacements, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Perform regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report accordingly
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a secure environment for staff and visitors
Skills Preferred:
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards
- Skilled in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment operation
- Experience with residential painting or minor maintenance tasks is a plus
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices to support building operations effectively
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and cleanliness
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
