Necessary Qualifications
- Two year degree concentrating on office and business practices and procedures.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess verbal and listening skills necessary to communicate with staff, students, principals, superintendents, and the general public.
- Verbal acuity to prepare reports and compose letters using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Keep all data/information confidential.
- Knowledge of alphabetizing, indexing, and filing procedures.
- Knowledge of business letter writing and forms.
- Ability to organize work well.
- Ability to accurately input large amounts of data.
- Ability to prioritize work projects and work independently in the absence of specific instructions.
- Ability to understand and interpret oral and written materials.
- Ability to use a calculator, copy, fax, and other office machines.
- Answer telephone calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate person or office.
- Type memos, reports, and letters.
- Work with regional and state groups to maintain knowledge of third party billing practices
- Help with SpEd Forms: upkeep, accuracy, and questions or concerns.
- Fill green file requests. Also order files when supply deems it necessary.
- Sit in for School Secretary as needed.

- Prepare and submit claims for all districts
- Review Time studies
- Verify MA eligibility
- Review IEP's
- File correspondence.
- Record Keeping/Files
- Follow-up with Providers with necessary information needed to process claims
- Establish and maintain billing rates with MDE/DHS
- Communicate with MDE/DHS
- Other duties as assigned.
