Northland Farms, LLC, a leading commercial nursery, is seeking a skilled Nursery Grower to join our team in Tahlequah, OK. Position Summary
The Nursery Grower will be primarily responsible for the care, production, and quality control of trees, shrubs, and other plant material. This role is hands-on and focused on plant health, including irrigation, pest and disease management, and pruning. In addition, the Grower will work with management and sales staff to align crop availability with landscaping products and seasonal sales cycles, ensuring our plants meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
· Oversee daily growing operations to produce healthy, market-ready plant material.
· Monitor and manage irrigation, pest control, and overall plant health.
· Maintain accurate crop records, including growth stages and readiness for market.
· Supervise and train staff on proper cultural practices.
· Assist with planning and execution of production schedules.
· Collaborate with sales and management teams to match crop timing with landscaping demand and customer orders.
· Support customer interactions as needed by providing product knowledge and insight into plant care.
· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
· 3–5 years of nursery, greenhouse, or horticultural growing experience preferred.
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field a plus.
· Strong knowledge of plant production, irrigation, and pest management.
· Familiarity with landscaping products and seasonal sales cycles.
· Customer service skills and ability to support sales staff when needed.
· Ability to supervise and motivate team members.
· Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
