Northland Controls is looking for a Design Engineer in Bangalore, India
At Northland, our Design Engineers play a key role in delivering security design solutions that meet both client and Northland standards. Based in our Global Design Centre, you’ll support regional Design Engineers across AMER, APAC, and EMEA, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time, and to the highest quality.
You’ll collaborate with a global team of Design and CAD Engineers, contributing to comprehensive security designs that form the foundation for large-scale security project scopes.
What You’ll Do

Produce accurate design packages including floor plans, BOMs, single line diagrams, elevations, and device details.

Provide peer support to CAD Engineers, ensuring QA/QC on complex projects.

Maintain client security standards and Northland drawing standards across all work.

Communicate proactively with Regional Design Engineers regarding requirements, updates, and client standards.

Self-check all work for Quality Assurance/Quality Control prior to submission.

Manage your workload to meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Keep design logs, client portfolios, and share point sites up to date.

Complete accurate timesheets, tracking live project work.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).

Minimum 3 years’ experience working for a Security Integrator or Security Design Consultant.

Strong knowledge of enterprise security products such as:
Lenel S2, C-Cure, Mercury Hardware, HID, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, AXIS, Assa Abloy, Allegion, Schlage, Altronix, and Life Safety Power Supplies. -
Hands-on experience producing complete system design packages.

AutoCAD 2018 (or later) proficiency in 2D.

Revit knowledge desirable but not essential.
