Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Estimator role located in Fairfield, NJ. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for assigned projects, analyzing project requirements, reviewing blueprints and specifications, calculating necessary materials and labor costs, securing vendor quotes, and assisting in overall project budgeting. The role requires collaboration with project teams and clients to help ensure financial efficiency and project success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting for construction projects in the NYC market.
- Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with project teams, clients, and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in estimation in the NYC market is optimal.
