Project Types
This role offers exposure to a wide variety of commercial projects, including:
- Corporate facilities
- Retail establishments
- Schools and educational facilities
- Hospitals and healthcare projects
- Warehouses and industrial facilities
- Additions, alterations, and renovations
- Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Develop bid packages and scopes of work
- Identify value-engineering opportunities
- Track project costs and maintain estimating databases
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership on project pursuits
- Assist in expanding the company's private-sector project portfolio
- 3 years of commercial estimating experience with a General Contractor
- Experience with public work bidding is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and pricing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
