Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for managing all aspects of human resources while aligning people strategies with business objectives. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing workforce performance, supporting leadership, and building scalable HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner directly with ownership and leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers to strengthen leadership effectiveness and employee accountability
- Support organizational growth through the implementation of effective HR programs and initiatives
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance assessments, providing actionable feedback and coaching
- Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven workplace culture
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Identify workforce development needs and implement training and development initiatives
- Support employee engagement and retention strategies
HR Operations, Payroll & Compliance
- Oversee weekly payroll administration with accuracy and confidentiality
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support workplace safety compliance, reporting, and related initiatives
Systems, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Utilize HRIS platforms such as Paylocity to manage employee data and reporting
- Leverage technology and artificial intelligence tools to improve efficiency and streamline HR processes
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Generalist and/or HR Manager responsibilities
- Prior experience supporting a manufacturing, production, or industrial workforce environment is required
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as Paylocity or similar systems
- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated success supporting organizational growth and cultural development
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Experience leveraging technology and AI tools to enhance operational efficiency
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
