Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary tests on patients and document medical history
- Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Provide patient care and support during exams and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records through an online system
- Handle front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and verifying insurance information
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
Skills:
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to provide friendly, compassionate, and professional service
- Experience in customer service is a plus
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
