Project Overview / Contractor’s role: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support our IT organization in the development of enterprise metrics, compliance reporting, and AI ready data foundations. This role will work closely with Software Delivery Asset Management (SDAM) and Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) teams to strengthen documentation, controls, and automated reporting processes that support Technology Administration Risk & Control Self Assessment(RCSA) requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong Microsoft 365 capabilities, hands on experience with data automation and analytics, and the ability to translate technical processes into audit ready documentation. This role is critical to enabling Business as Usual (BAU) compliance, self audit reporting, and AI agent development. Qualifications (must haves): Technical & Analytical Skills • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, including: o Excel (advanced formulas, Power Query, data models). o Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards). o SharePoint & Teams (controlled documentation and collaboration). o Power Automate (workflow and reporting automation). • Experience building and managing structured datasets or data warehouses. • Ability to design automated reporting and compliance solutions. Governance, Risk & Documentation • Experience supporting SDLC, SDAM, IT governance, or compliance programs. • Strong ability to create audit ready documentation, including: o Process narratives. o Control descriptions. o Evidence matrices. • Familiarity with RCSA concepts, control frameworks, and technology risk management. Collaboration & Communication • Proven ability to work across technical, risk, and business teams. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly. • Comfortable operating in a matrixed, enterprise environment. Tasks & Responsibilities: Metrics, Analytics & Automation • Design, develop, and maintain IT metrics and dashboards to support SDAM, SDLC, and broader Technology compliance reporting. • Automate data collection, transformation, and reporting using Microsoft 365 tools to reduce manual effort and improve consistency across business units. • Develop repeatable, auditable reporting processes that support regulatory and internal compliance requirements. • Partner with IT and governance teams to ensure metrics align with control objectives, risk statements, and RCSA expectations. Microsoft 365 & Data Enablement • Leverage Microsoft 365 (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate) to: o Build scalable reporting solutions. o Automate workflows and compliance evidence generation. o Enable controlled collaboration and versioned documentation. • Curate and manage structured datasets that form the data warehouse foundation for an AI agent supporting BAU compliance and self audit activities. • Ensure data is well defined, governed, and traceable to source systems and controls. SDAM / SDLC Documentation & Controls • Support SDAM and SDLC teams in developing and maintaining robust process and procedure documentation. • Translate technical workflows into clear, standardized, and audit ready artifacts (process flows, narratives, control descriptions). • Work with cross functional teams to design and document systematic controls, ensuring: o Clear ownership. o Defined inputs/outputs. o Evidence expectations. • Align documentation and controls to System Development, Acquisition, and Maintenance (SDAM) requirements. Compliance & RCSA Support • Ensure outputs support Technology Administration RCSA documentation, including: o Control descriptions. o Evidence mapping. o Metrics and monitoring artifacts. • Enable self service compliance and self audit reporting through well structured data and automation. • Partner with Risk and Compliance stakeholders to address findings, gaps, and continuous improvement opportunities.
