Job Description The SAP Sybase IQ DBA is currently on a reduced work schedule. SAP Sybase IQ is a technology that we are moving away from, looking to bring in someone who knows SAP Sybase IQ to train up and augment the reduced time employee SAP Sybase Database Administrator (DBA), will be responsible for managing and maintaining our SAP Sybase IQ database systems. Typical day will involve monitoring database performance, optimizing queries, and ensuring data integrity and security. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Manage and maintain the Sybase database system. - Monitor database performance and optimize queries for improved efficiency. - Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate measures. - Perform regular backups and recovery operations. - Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and errors. - Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database solutions.
Salary : $60 - $70
