Job Title: General Service Associate
Location: Northern Stamping, Inc.

Job Summary:
Northern Stamping is seeking a dependable and motivated General Service Associate to support multiple departments within our manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient daily operations by ensuring work areas are clean, materials are properly handled, and production teams receive the support they need. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and willing to take on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, workstations, and common spaces through regular housekeeping duties

• Safely collect, sort, and dispose of scrap materials and waste in designated areas

• Transport materials, racks, parts, and tools between departments using carts or other equipment

• Assist machine operators and maintenance personnel with basic support tasks as needed

• Ensure all materials and finished goods are placed in the correct locations to support workflow efficiency

• Perform basic maintenance or cleanup tasks to keep equipment and work areas in good condition

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times

• Identify and report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or production delays to supervisors

• Support additional tasks and projects as assigned to meet production goals

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift

• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials at waist level

• Ability to lift and move materials averaging 10–40 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

• Ability to push and pull carts loaded with racks between departments

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment preferred but not required

• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures

• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
