Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and customer-focused Medical Receptionist / Front Desk individual to join our dermatology practice. This full-time, in-person position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting daily administrative and front-office operations. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records through filing, data entry, and organization
- Utilize Google Workspace and other electronic systems for documentation and correspondence
- Keep the front desk and reception area clean, organized, and professional
- Assist with insurance verification and basic billing processes
- Coordinate with dermatology providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in a medical or office setting preferred (dermatology experience a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and computerized administrative systems
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with dermatology terminology is preferred but not required
