SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Prospective Student Services, the Coordinator of High School and College Relations assists the college’s student recruitment program by representing the college on campus and in various communities. Housed on the Enid campus but having multi-campus institution-wide responsibilities, the position is responsible for recruiting and corresponding with prospective students, promoting educational opportunities, and advising about general qualifications for college admission. This employee will assume other duties as assigned and will work on various special projects as they may arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Develop and implement recruitment activities for traditional and non-traditional students to align with the Strategic Enrollment Plan.
- Schedule and attend recruitment fairs, high school visits, senior awards assemblies, campus tours, community fairs, and other designated recruitment events.
- Maintain prospective student database in current recruitment software (Salesforce).
- Maintain prospective student pages on the college website.
- Work directly with the Printing Services and Marketing Departments to develop recruitment, other informational literature, and promotional materials about the college.
- Coordinate and implement the college prospective student communication plan, including targeted social media and email campaigns.
- Respond to inquiries from high school principals, counselors, parents, and prospective students regarding the admissions process.
- Maintain job manual for position with regular updates to describe processes when substitutions are needed.
- All other duties as assigned to promote the mission of the college.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will be sensitive to the needs and interests of prospective and enrolled college students; will possess excellent human relations and communication skills; will understand and use strategies appropriate to college recruitment; will be a part of a team, be flexible, innovative, and highly self-motivated; and will be able to travel and work irregular hours as needed. Some weekend and evening work will be required with a flexible 40-hour work week schedule. NOC graduates preferred. Subject to satisfactory Fair Credit Reporting Act Disclosure that includes a criminal background check.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum educational level of an associate degree is required, but a bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Strong computer skills are required and preference will be given to a marketing degree or related experience.
